Eleanor Head

Eleanor Bynum Head, 78, of Brinson, GA, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Elder Ryan Cleveland, Branch President officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Josh Becker, Jeremy Tomberlin, Jonathon Tomberlin, Alan Hall, Kyndall Hall, and Charlie Kirksey serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Head was born June 21, 1932 in Auburndale, FL, the daughter of Alvin D. Bynum and Lossie Mae Ready Bynum. She was a custodian and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her daughter, Billie Denise Whitehead; her brother, James Bynum; and her sister, Mattie Ament. Survivors include her husband, W. T. "Pete" Head of Brinson, GA; her son, Kenneth Hall of Brinson, GA; her daughters, Donna Gayle Becker of Columbus, GA and Debra Whitehead Tomberlin of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Janice Hayes and Frances Bynum Alvarez; her eleven grandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren.
