Mrs. Elizabeth Davison Hamill, 88, of Roswell, GA died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Golden Living Center Northside in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Roswell Funeral Home (Mansell Road), and again from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home in Bainbridge, GA. Mrs. Hamill was born March 18, 1918 in Cuthbert, GA, the daughter of Dr. Charles Clement Davison and Elizabeth May Gheesling Davison. She was raised in Greensboro, GA and graduated from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, GA and Bessie Tift College in Forsyth, GA. She was a school teacher at Valdosta High School for 25 years and retired from Hutto Jr. High School in Bainbridge, GA. She was a member of New Victoria Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herchel A. Hamill. Survivors include four daughters, Eulouise H. Williams and husband Joe of Roswell, GA, Alwyn H. Borst and husband Tom of Palm Harbor, FL, Lucretia H. Graham and husband Robert of Cameron, MO, and Berrian H. Webb and husband Benjie of Ball Ground, GA; 11 grandchildren, Herchel A. Williams, Sunderland "Sunny" Williams, Slade Holloway, Christopher "Chris" Holloway, Marie Barbee Sunde, Melissa Barbee Whitaker, Robert Graham, Brady Graham, Benjamin Webb, Brandon Webb, and Blake Webb; and 7 great-grandchildren.
