Mrs. Elizabeth Baxley Hodges, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jean Watson and Rev. Billy Mills officiating. Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery in Brinson, GA with ? serving as active pallbearers.. The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. She graduated from West Bainbridge High School, was a member of West Bainbridge United Methodist Church, and worked with crafts for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Hodges. Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Hodges White and husband David of Ft. Pierce, FL, Sherry Hodges Haire and husband Herschel of Attapulgus, GA, and Cecilia Hodges Connell and husband James of Bainbridge, GA; a sister, Juanita Baxley Weeks of Norman Park, GA; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
