Mrs. Ellie Parker Rickman, 98, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007 at Lee County Health Care in Leesburg, GA. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lindsay Gay officiating and her grandsons serving as active pallbearers. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. EDT Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Headland, AL. Mrs. Rickman was born August 27, 1908 in Houston County, AL to the late Willie Eddie ("Tom") Lomineck and Nancy Petty Lomineck. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Bainbridge, and a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Hosea K. Parker and Sam J. Rickman. Survivors include a sons, Billy Charles Parker and wife Barbara of Bainbridge, GA; three daughters, Annette Parker Hooks and husband W. L. of Dawson, GA, Ella Jo Parker Webb Speed of Macon, GA, and Cherry Parker Stewart and husband Billy K. of Albany, GA; 11 grandchildren, Jack Webb, Sonny Hooks, Terry Hooks, Jeffrey Parker, Jay Parker, Joe Miller, Chuck Miller, Kaye Beckom, Deborah Jenkins, Charlotte Law, and Jana Stewart; 27 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
