Ellis Moore

Ellis E. Moore, 74, of Baker County GA, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at his residence. The Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Notchaway Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold Crosson officiating and Tommy Watson, Ed King, Renay Kennedy, Johnny Rentz, Amos Kelley, Brandon Donalson, and Lowell Coppinger serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Moore was born June 23, 1933 in Baker County, GA, the son of Luther Edward Moore and Mattie Golden Cobb Moore. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Walden Moore. Survivors include two sons, Edward E. Moore and wife Gaye of Wilmington, Ohio and Chris Moore and wife Vanessa of Colquitt, GA; and two grandchildren, Shea Moore of Colquitt, GA and Justin Moore of Colquitt, GA.
