Elma Taylor

Elma Green Taylor, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. S. E. Newberry officiating. Interment will be held at Old Mars Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, prior to the service. She was a homemaker and member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Taylor; her sisters, Odeline Dodson and Betty Jean Green; and her brothers, Robert Green and Rufus Green. Survivors include her twin sister, Thelma Shepherd of Bainbridge, GA and four generations of nieces and nephews.
