Elsie Hightower

Mrs. Elsie Hightower passed away March 15, 2011. She was the daughter of John Tyson, Sr. and Callie Mandeville Tyson. Elsie was born in Farmville, N.C. and lived her early life there. She received her secretarial training and worked in that capacity in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia. She retired in Bainbridge,Ga. Elsie is survived by several cousins who mourn her passing. She was a devoted communicant at St.Johns Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be celebrated at St. John's Episcopal Church Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM with The Reverend June Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 516 E. Broughton St., Bainbridge, Ga. 39817. Cox-Ware Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
