Elsie Sharber

Elsie Elaine Brogdon Sharber, age 75, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015, at her home in Grady County, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at The First Church of the Nazarene in Bainbridge, Georgia. Elsie Elaine Brogdon was born June 6, 1940, in Miller County, Georgia, to William Brogdon and Erie Ingram Brogdon. Elsie was married to Ed Sharber, who preceded her in death. For many years, she was employed by the City of Bainbridge. Elsie drove a truck for the Road Maintenance Department. Before that, she worked at Bainbridge State Hospital as a H.S.T. Mrs. Sharber loved to go fishing. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. Elsie Sharber is survived by her children, Holly Groves and husband, Walter of Grady County, Georgia, Sharon Barbree and husband, Jeff of Climax, Georgia, Andy Miller and wife, Dawn of Donalsonville, Georgia, Marie Marlowe of Tifton, Georgia, and Joe Miller and wife, Brenda of Dothan, Alabama; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Sean Miller.
