Emma Williams

Mrs. Emma Holloway Williams, age 99, died on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Bainbridge Healthcare in Bainbridge, Georgia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Moultrie, Georgia. The Rev. Jimmy Dean will officiate. Emma Holloway Williams was born October 2, 1920 in Moultrie, Georgia. Her parents, Emanuel Henry Holloway and Alice Castleberry Holloway, have preceded her in death. She married Howard Eugene Williams. Mr. Williams has also passed away. Emma worked at the Georgia Factory of the Blind for 20 years. She loved going to church and loved her church family at Morningside Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking. Mostly, she was about family. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Emma Williams is survived by her children, Henry W. Williams and wife, Michelle of Brandon, Mississippi, Audrey Weeks and husband, Randy of Norman Park, Georgia, Dake Williams of Bainbridge, and Kenneth Williams of Bainbridge; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and children, Frank Williams, Felton Williams, and Rachel Funck.
