Ennis Milton Harrison was born March 13, 1948, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Samuel Collen Harrison, Sr. and Gladys Love Harrison. Milton loved the Lord and loved serving Him. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and in the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life in 1969, Alecia White. She and Milton had a wonderful life together for 56 years. He loved being a Pastor and Servant of the Lord preaching the Gospel for 40 years and loved serving in every church the Lord called them. He always loved the people of each church and did the best he could to help in any way possible. Milton dearly loved seeing the grands and great-grands and loved hearing them call “Papa”. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved attending church and going to the Don Gambrell Sunday School Class. He loved his Pastor and his church family. He considered the congregation of Fellowship Baptist Church his extended family, not merely friends. He was lovingly known as “Double Trouble”, never met a stranger, was willing to help others in need, and always willing to tell someone about the Lord and Salvation. Milton will be remembered for his great preaching, quick wit, and sense of humor. He could always make people laugh. He will be deeply missed by many. His prayer was always that the Lord save his family and all those he loves that are lost. And as he always said, “I love you more!”.
He is survived by his wife, Alecia White Harrison; son, Michael (special daughter-in-law, Lisa) Harrison, whom he loved with all his heart; grandchildren, Christian (April) Hollingsworth, Austin Harrison, Jake Harrison, Angel (William) Medina-Griffith, Andrew Scott (Taylor), Matthew Logue, and Madison (Robby) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Phoenix, Ari, Rune Michael, Oaklynn, Adalynn Jane, Ellery Jane, Mavy Jane, and Teagan Millie; brother, David (Mary Ellen) Harrison; sister-in-law, Pat Harrison; and many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Milton loved all of his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sam Harrison, Jr. and Ronnie Joe Harrison; and sister, Jeweldene Harrison Glass.
