Erlean Mclaughlin

Erlean "Gail" Lynn McLaughlin, 59, of Melrose, FL, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 after a hard fought battle with stage 4 cancer. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Gail was born September 13, 1953 in Mt. Clemens, MI, the daughter of Hubert Lynn and Jessie Lou Gunn Sellars. She was a graduate of Bainbridge, High School and was employed at Sun Surgical Supply in Gainesville, FL. Mrs. McLaughlin enjoyed her family, reading, cross stitching, and her pool during the summer. Gail will be missed by many for her sassy, loving, and caring way about life. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Robert McLaughlin of Melrose, FL; her mother, Jessie Lou Gunn; her sister Patricia Ann Conyers and her husband, Joe, of Bainbridge, GA; her nieces and nephews, Frankie Funderburke and her husband, David, Anna Marie Long, Kyle Wilson, Chastity Whitley, Madison Whitley, McKenna Whitley, Matt Jones, Kyle Funderburke, Charlie Marshburn, Sr.and his wife, Nikie, C.J. Marshburn, and Nick Mashburn; her step-daughter, Lisa McLaughlin of Donalsonville, GA. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Lynn; and her nephew Gene Long.
