Ernest Frazier

Dr. Ernest Lynn Frazier died January 18, 2011 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Services will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m., January 22, 2011, at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, Georgia. The Rev. Edward Cook and the Rev. Richard Trawick will be officiating. Justin Frazier, Nicholas Frazier, Joey MacConnell, Herbert Golden, Jim Jones, Shawn Frazier, Jason Frazier, and Joe MacConnell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends prior to the service; beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Ernest Lynn Frazier was born February 14, 1934 to Ernest I. and Erline (Pat) Carmack Frazier. Lynn served his country in the United States Navy. In 1962, he married Gloria Jean Cook. Dr. Frazier was an educator. He has the distinction of being named Professor Emeritus of Bainbridge College. Lynn's family called him a wonderful father and husband. Ernest Lynn Frazier is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Cook Frazier of Bainbridge; children: Brian I. Frazier and wife, Teresa, of Clayton, North Carolina, Bruce L. Frazier of Easley, South Carolina, Heather L. MacConnell and husband, Joe, of Shiloh, Illinois, Dr. Brett E. Frazier, MD and wife, Angie, of Seffner, Florida; brother: Jerry M. Frazier and wife, Sue, of Ozark, Missouri; grandchildren: Courtney Frazier, Kristin Frazier, Justin Frazier, Roxxanne Frazier, Nicholas Frazier, Joey MacConnell, Olivia Frazier, Beau Frazier, Luke Frazier, and Drew Frazier.
