Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Mae Roberts Love, age 85 of Bainbridge, will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Cox- Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimbo Kovacs, Telly Love, Wayne Holcombe, Robert Love, Arthur Love, Rhett Sousa, Stevie Kovacs, Jenny Muriel, Chrissy kovacs-Bane, Krista Letchworth and Kristen Kovacs serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Love passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 at Memorial Manor. She was born in Decatur County the daughter of Asa J. and Sula Mae Joiner Roberts and has lived here all her life. She worked for McCrory's 5 & 10, Jack Winter and TG&Y. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, loved her children and grandchildren, flowers, sewing crocheting and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Love. Mrs Love is survived by two daughters Geraldine "Gerrie" Littleton of Bainbridge and Madine (husband Doc) Dukes of Brinson; two sons James (wife Ellen) Kovacs of Donalsonville and Arthur D. "Dee" (wife Evelyn) Love of Bainbridge; one sister Effie R. Turnage of Bainbridge; fifteen grandchildren and thirty four great grandchildren.
