Esther Flores

Esther Gonzalez Flores, age 64, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, surrounded by family at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Flores will be held Tuesday, April 19, 5:00 p.m., in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The family will visit and receive friends at Cadwell Chapel beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of the service. Esther Gonzalez Flores was born September 8, 1957, in Houston, Texas. She married Miguel Flores, Sr. She and Miguel have been married 48 years. Esther was a dedicated member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Spanish congregation. Family was Esther’s heart. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were her world. She was “Grandma and Guela” to the neighborhood children and her children’s friends. Esther never met a stranger and was always there to help anyone. Loving and giving describes Esther. She enjoyed shopping and loved “Bama” football. Esther will be deeply missed by her family and many, many friends. Esther Flores is survived by her husband, Miguel Flores, Sr.; children, Miguel Flores, Jr. and Eva Figueroa (Felipe); sisters, Alice Freeman and Elia Valdez (Juan); grandchildren, Austin Flores, Lillyana Figueroa, Giovanni Figueroa, and Kadence Flores; and numerous extended family and friends. Esther was preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline and Terry, and son, Ruben Flores.
