Eudene Boyd

Eudene Vickers Boyd, 81, of Brinson, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with James Gilbourn, Chris Boyd, Greg Boyd, Shaun Earnest, Trent Bellflower, and Spencer Dunlap serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Boyd was born September 30, 1928 near Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of R. G. and Willie Vickers. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, a homemaker, and a member of Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Herbert L. Boyd. Survivors include her sons, Randy Boyd and his wife Diane of Lakeland, FL and Sammy Boyd of Brinson, GA; her daughters Diane Bellflower and her husband Timmy of Brinson, GA and Brenda Boyd of Brinson, GA; eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
