Mr Eugene W. Moore, age 79, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Lance White, Raymond Miles, Shane Moore, Larry Harrell, Billy Maxwell, and Kevin Ford serving as active pallbearers. He married Betty Jean Weathersby on October 26, 1951. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a residential building contractor and a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty W. Moore of Bainbridge, GA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Roger and Gwen Moore and Edward and Jennifer Moore, all of Bainbridge, GA; 3 brothers: Douglas Moore of Lake City, FL, Stanley Moore and Charles Moore, both of Bainbridge, GA; 5 sisters: Maxine Moore of Bainbridge, GA, Sherry Donalson of Blue Ridge, GA, Sue Whittaker of Leesburg, GA, Myra Turner of Bainbridge, GA and Hilda Lashley of Donalsonville, GA; 5 grandchildren: Brooke Moore, Brianne Maxwell, Corey Moore, Shane Moore and and Addison Moore; 1 great-grandchild: Kierstyn White.
