Eugene Palmer

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Eugene C. Palmer, 91, of Stuart, FL will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Palmer was born in Climax, GA February 21, 1918. He had lived in Stuart, FL for the past 35 years moving from Miami, FL. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II in the European Theatre. He was a member of Pine Forrest Baptist Church, the Elks Lodge 1870, and Master Mason Acacia Lodge 163. Mr. Palmer was a retired U.S. Customs officer and passed away April 30, 2009 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosalind Palmer of Stuart, FL; daughter, Linda Richardson of Jacksonville Beach, FL; sisters, Christine Bolger of Massachusetts and Grace McIntyre of FL; and two grandchildren.
