Mrs. Eunice Deloise Meredith, age 91, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Poppell and Rev. Steve Brooks will officiate. Garrett Maloy, Mitch Williams, Garry Meredith, Jr., Kevin Meredith, Michael Curls, and Gene Willis will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Beulah Thomas Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, 6:00-8:00, Saturday, at the funeral home. Eunice Deloise Sadler was born May 24, 1925, in the Mt. Pleasant Community, Decatur County, Georgia. Her parents, General Warfield Sadler and Maude Irene Johnson Sadler, have preceded her in death. She married William Franklin Meredith on April 15, 1947. Mr. Meredith passed away in 1981. Mrs. Meredith was a member of Beulah Thomas Baptist Church. Eunice loved her home. She liked to cook, clean, and care for her home. She loved her flowers. Mostly, Eunice loved her family. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren. Eunice Meredith will be deeply missed by her large family and many friends. Eunice Meredith is survived by her children, Roger Meredith and wife, Anita of Climax, Georgia, Kenneth Meredith of Valdosta, Georgia, Garry Meredith and wife, Janet of Climax, Kathy Bush and husband, Steve of Climax, and Donna Donley and husband, Craig of Colquitt, Georgia; her sister, Joy Jones of Climax; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Debby Willis; grandchildren, Heather Barlow and Shera Lynn Donley; and great-granddaughter, Emma Barlow.
