Eunice McCalvin Williams, 86, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jean Watson and Rev. Wayne McDonald officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Mrs. Williams was born November 17, 1923 in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of John Thomas McCalvin and Leola Long McCalvin. She was a seamstress for Williamson Dickie and the owner and operator Port City Nursery for over 30 years. She was an active member of West Bainbridge United Methodist Church and a life member of V.F.W. Post 4904 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Clifton J. "Dud" Williams of Bainbridge, GA; her son, James Steven Williams of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Peggy Williams Stout and Carolyn Williams Kincaid both of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, Herman McCalvin of Colquitt, GA; her sister, Lillian Smith of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Stacy Stout Mills, John R. Stout, Jr., Kimberly Kincaid, and Casey Kincaid; her five great-grandchildren, Trent, Jordan, Zachary, Hayden, and John.
