Evie H. Collins, 93, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. C. Phil Tondee and Rev. Tommy McNair officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Grady Co., GA with Mike Collins, Gary Collins, Chris Sapp, Jimmy Elkins, Lawrence Culverson and Dale Sapp serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Collins was born June 25, 1914 in Mitchell Co. to the late Harvey Lester Harrell and Emma West Harrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Linton Collins, a son, Jerry Collins and a daughter, Laverne Collins. Survivors include two sons; Linton L. Collins and wife Mildred of Stockbridge, GA, and Jimmy Collins and wife Phyllis of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter-in-law, Mary Collins of Bainbridge, GA; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grand children.
