Faye L. NicholsJanuary 18th, 1949 - July 26, 2023 Faye L. Nichols, age 74, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 26th, 2023. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lynn Roberts officiating.  Private interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Faye was born Tuesday, January 18th, 1949 in Bainbridge, Georgia the daughter of Arthur Earl Nichols and Mozelle Phillips Nichols.  She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School Class of 1967. Faye owned and operated the Headhunter Salon in Bainbridge during the mid 1970's. She then worked for the State of Florida Insurance Department until her retirement. She was an avid reader, lover of flowers, plants, and animals. During her later years, she loved spending time with her two cats. Survivors include her son, Hal Mills of Bainbridge and her brother, Bill (Judy) Nichols of Bainbridge as well as her cats, Scooby and Smokey. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Earl Nichols; and her sister, Dorothy Nichols Craddock. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com .
