Faye Wharton

Wharton, Faye Martin, 70, of Tampa, passed away at home on March 27, 2014. She was born in Bainbridge, GA and settled in the Atlanta area in 1978 where she raised her daughters, married Ric, and continued her 30 year career in Property Management. She and Ric moved to Tampa in 2004 where she was a successful Realtor and was closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Faye loved life and found the most joy in life by serving and helping others. She was a peacemaker and a true disciple of Christ. Faye is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Ric Wharton; her daughters, Jacqueline (David) Reina and Joanna (Tony) Benante; six grandchildren, Gabriella, Martin, Cecilia, and Mia Reina and A. J. and Joey Benante; her brother, Ted (Bonnie) Martin and two sisters, Ann Martin and Martha Martin. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation, starting at 1:00 pm,Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa. The funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm.
