Mrs. Flonita Cowart Erpelding, 88, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donna Bevels officiating. Interment will follow at Black Jack Baptist Church Cemetery with Michael Clinton, Robert Clinton, Earl Clinton, Jr., Wes Tabb, Johnny Wimberly, and Ken Folson serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Erpelding was born on September 4, 1918 in Hazlehurst, GA to the late Clarence Cowart and Sarah Dixon Cowart. Formerly of Jesup, GA, she was a seamstress at Jack Winters and a member of Black Jack Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Louise Mobley. Survivors include three sons, Roy Bellflower and wife Mary Ann of Louisville, KY, J. E. Bellflower of Tallahassee, FL, and James Bellflower and wife Gail of Jesup, GA; four daughters, Annette Combast and husband Lynwood of Bainbridge, GA, Brenda Clinton and husband Charlie Earl of Bainbridge, GA, Viki Crummey and husband Don of Jesup, GA, and Deborah Bond and husband Darrell of Duncan, SC; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
