Frances Brock

Frances Register Brock, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Bainbridge First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. She married Adolph Brock, Jr. and lived most of her life in Bainbridge, GA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge.Frances was an avid reader; she often spent time reading her Bible. She was an outstanding seamstress. She loved plants and flowers but never quite developed a green thumb. Frances had a kind soul with a sweet spirit. She loved unconditionally, especially her family. Many will remember her smile that came from the heart. Survivors include her children, Pamela Searcy and her husband, Bill, Stephen Brock, Kimela Bowles and her husband, Charles, all of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Brock, Sara, Meredith, Lauren, Anna Beth, and Simpson; her great-grandchildren, Allison and Ford; her precious brother and sisters in law, Barbara, Carolyn, Winston and Patsy; and her dearly loved nieces and nephews. In addition to parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Brock, Jr.; her siblings, Lucille, Jack, Charles and Ralph; and her daughter in law, Nancy.
