Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Ola Clinton Sholar, age 86 of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Garnett and Bro. Chuck Bostick officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Doug Bedell, Sr., Doug Bedell, Jr., Greg Sholar, Johnny Hudson, Brad Eakin, Stoney Bearden and David Haywood serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Sholar was born in Bainbridge, January 31, 1922 the daughter of the now late Willie L. and Flossy Lott Clinton. She lived in Decatur County most all her life and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Sholar worked as a welder at a ship yard in Panama City, FL. She was a good mother, loved her children and grandchildren, dedicated to taking care of her daughter Jannell, always had a good story to tell and a good sense of humor, she helped handicapped children and is the definition of the phrase "Dynamite Comes in Small Packages" . She was a homemaker and passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2008. She is survived by four daughters Sarah (husband Terry) Bearden of Dunnellon, FL, Mary Ann Sholar of Climax, GA, Julie (husband Doug) Bedell of Ft. Meyers, FL and Jannell Sholar of Bainbridge, GA; two sons Thomas Sholar of West Palm Beach, FL and Willard Sholar of Climax, GA; sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jodie Allen Sholar, two daughters Willie "Skeeter" Hudson and Bernice Anderson, one son Morris Sholar, one brother James Clinton and one grandson David Hudson.
