Freida Nicholson

Freida H. Nicholson, 84, of Iron City, GA, passed away Friday, September 25, 2009 at Donalsonville Hospital. The Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Panorama Memorial Gardens in Waterlick, VA with Rev. Bobby Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Nicholson was born August 20, 1925 in Castleton, VA , the daughter of Herbert Heaton Heflin and Mazie Freida Kinsey. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jackson Nicholson, her daughter, Pat N. Brownhill and her sister, Rebecca H. Sibert. Survivors include two daughters, Benita N. Hawley of Iron City, GA and Clarice N. Holman and her husband Bruce of Iron City, GA; two brothers, Everett P. Heflin of Lawsonville, NC and Herbert Hoover Heflin of Front Royal, VA; and her granddaughter, Amanda Hawley of Iron City, GA.
