Mr. G. Frank Battles, III, 67, passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 at his residence in Bainbridge, GA. The graveside funeral service will be private. Frank Battles, Jr. and Hazel Wilson Battles. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1959 and attended Auburn University. He served in the U. S. Army and was self-employed. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Scherer Battles of Bainbridge, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Frank and Pam Battles of Bainbridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kemala and Kevin Tribe of Gabriola Island, B.C.; three sisters, Catherine Ann Battles Nelson and husband Ken of Bainbridge, GA, Susan Deborah Battles Phinney and husband Sandy of Canton, GA, Margaret Wilson Battles Harrell and husband Larry of Donalsonville, GA; and six grandchildren, Tiffanie Owens, Heather Battles, Matthew Battles, Amber Owens, Joshua Battles, and K. J. Tribe.
