Gail Weathersby

Gail Weathersby, 64, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020. The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Danny VunCannon officiating.  Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Gail Griffin was born May 28, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of James and Minnie Layton Griffin.  Gail worked as a Cook at Ware's in Climax, GA. Gail had a playful personality and made others giggle. She loved watching westerns which caused her family to snicker because she always had on her favorite fuzzy slippers. Gail loved her babies, and if you asked they were all "her babies". She had quite a collection of salt & pepper shakers with the Mickey & Minnie ones being her most treasured. Gail enjoyed dealing a hand of cards and knew when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. Survivors include her daughter, Andi Weathersby of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Barbara Durrance and Pat Smith; and her brothers, Stanley Griffin and Donald Griffin. In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Griffin and Jim Griffin.
