Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Geneta Sadler Meredith, 79, of Fayetteville, NC formerly of Bainbridge, GA will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Oak City Cemetery with James Olivent officiating. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Meredith was born October 5, 1930 in Bainbridge, GA to the now late Emanuel L. and Susan Adams Sadler. She lived in Bainbridge until the early 1960's. She had lived in Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, and Okeechobee, FL and in Fayetteville, NC since 2007. She was of the Baptist Faith, a homemaker, and loved to read and fish. Mrs. Meredith passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Harnett County, NC. She is survived by one son, Joe Meredith of Fayetteville, NC; one brother, Curtis (wife Velma) Sadler of Pelham, GA; one sister, Nell S. Malphurs of Tallahassee, FL; three grandchildren, Cari Hennig, Danny Hazellief Jr., and Chris Meredith; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William J. Meredith Jr. and Dorr Vandall; one son, Ricky Keith Meredith; one daughter, Susan Genelle Rydstrom; one brother, John E. Sadler; and one sister, Mattie Lou Reagan.
