Georgia Bowen Kline, 89, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Harrison officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Kline was born June 8, 1922 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Russell H. Bowen and Florence Torbert Bowen. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Florida Southern College. Mrs. Kline taught elementary school with the Decatur County School System for over 30 years. She was a member of Independent Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Robert P. Kline, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; her granddaughters, Cheryl Bush, Dana Johnson, Rebecca Kline, and Romona Kline; and her great-grandchildren, Zachary Bush, Michael Wild, and Hannah Johnson.
