Gilbert Masias

Mr. Gilbert Masias, age 61, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mr. Masias will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rawleigh Furney will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Gilbert Masias was born December 15, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Puseono and Amelia Masias. He was a farm worker. He was, also, a great mechanic and cook. Gilbert Masias is survived by his children, Mary Masias of Bainbridge and Gilbert Masias, Jr. of South Carolina; grandchildren, Erica, Jose, Samantha, and Brandon; great grandchildren, Anahi Aundelin Sue Poague, and Angelina Isabel Masias, all of Bainbridge; 4 sisters and 4 brothers; and Godson and Goddaughter, Wayne and Judy Josey of Bainbridge.
