Gladys Faircloth

Gladys L. Faircloth, 96, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Jamie McMillan, Jared Humphrey, Dylan Harrell, Alex McMillan, Dalton McMillan, and Al Murkerson serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Faircloth was born December 2, 1916 in Donalsonville, GA, the daughter of Walter Murkerson and Bertha Lovett Murkerson. She was a seamstress for Williamson Dickies and was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Survivors include her grandchildren, Debbie Logue and her husband, Dennis, of Climax, GA, Ricky Faircloth and his fiancee, Stephanie Barber, of Bainbridge, GA, and Missy Harrell and her husband, Glenn, of Bainbridge, GA; her 3 great-grandchildren; and her 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver L. Faircloth; and her son, Leo Faircloth.
