Glenn Childree

Mr. Glenn H. Childree, 87, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his residence. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. day, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Army veteran of World War II, a farmer, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Phillips Childree of Brinson, GA; eight sons, Tyrone C. Childree of Lithia Springs, GA, John Childree of Bainbridge, GA, Roger Childree of Albany, GA, Ben Childree of Brinson, GA, Keith Childree of Bainbridge, GA, Kasey Childree of Climax, GA, Roy Mills of Bainbridge, GA, and Andy Adkins of Brinson, GA; three daughters, Dianne Singleton of Brinson, GA, Rita Logue of Springerville, AZ, and Tammie Mitchell of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters, Mary Melahn of Portland, OR and Flora McGruder of Louisville, KY; 19 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
