Glenn M. Justice, 77, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Walden and Rev. Eurl Hand officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Military Honors. Honorary pallbearers will be V.F. W. Post 6046 and members of G Company, 31st Regiment, 7th Division. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Shotwell St., Bainbridge, GA 39819. Mr. Justice was born October 10, 1931 in Early County, GA, the son of Bob Morette Justice and Nancy Lewis Justice. A veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Justice served the United States Army in numerous battles where he received many medals and declarations, including the Purple Heart while serving with G Company, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. As a survivor of the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, he was a member of the Chosin Few. He was the author of Fightin' George, Light Infantry , a frontline soldier's full account of day by day battle and living conditions during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Post # 6046 in Colquitt, GA and Sons of Confederate Veterans. Mr. Justice was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Betty Kelley Justice of Bainbridge, GA; his son Eddie Justice and his wife Liz of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Brenda Justice Huggins and her husband John of Bainbridge, GA; his brother Jim Tom Justice of Colquitt, GA; four sisters, Geraldine Hand of Sylvester, GA, Burma Jane Miller of Hutchinson, KS, Mattie Lee Justice of Sylvester, GA and Annelle Antis of Bainbridge, GA; eight grandchildren, Michaela Huggins, John-Guy Huggins, Kelly Huggins, Adam Justice, Maranda Justice, Dustin Justice, Cody Morrison and Derek Morrison; two great-grandchildren, Addie Justice and Evynn Huggins.
