Gloria Hogan

Gloria Ann Weaver Hogan, 78, beloved Mother and MeMa passed away at her home on Monday, October 18th, 2021 in Katy, Texas. Gloria was born in Baker County, Ga to Odena (Toliver) and Nick Weaver. Gloria retired from First American Title in 2003 where she had a work family that she enjoyed immensely and stayed in touch with.  She enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, playing cards with her grandkids, and cooking. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Tonya Strickland Shuff of Alvin, Texas, and her five  Grand Children, Nichole Shuff Olivier (Scott), Clayton Shuff (Jennifer), Matthew Strickland [Courtney MacDonald) of Pattison, Ashlie Strickland (Kyle Harper) of Houston, and Joey Strickland of Katy Texas, six great-grandchildren, her daughter In Law, Brenda Strickland of Katy and her much loved Maltese, Winston. She was preceded in death by her husband Marsh Cabel Hogan, son, Randy Strickland, brothers, Curtis Weaver and Lamar Weaver, her sister Sarah Weaver, and her parents and her beloved Yorkie, Anabelle. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bainbridge - Decatur County Humane Society or MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
