Funeral Services for Mrs. Grace Daphine Palmer McIntyre, 87, of Venice, FL (formerly of Bainbridge, GA) will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Robert E. Bolger, Robert McIntyre, John McIntyre, and Wayne Thomas serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. McIntyre was born February 1, 1922 in Bainbridge, GA to the now late Freeman and Verna Mae Dixon Palmer. She was raised in Decatur County, lived her married life in Doylestown, PA and moved back to Bainbridge after retirement where she lived until 2008 when she moved to Venice, FL. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. McIntyre passed away July 23, 2009 at Venice Regional Medical Center. She is survived by one daughter; Georgia Lee McIntyre of Venice, FL; two sons; John Eugene McIntyre and Robert Linsey McIntyre both of Doylestown, PA; one sister; Christine Bolger of Lenox, MA; seven grandchildren; Josh, Mandy, Shannon, Daniel, Rachel, Robin, and Bobby; and four great grandchildren; Olivia, Milo, Darian, and Peyton. Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles McIntyre; and her brother, Eugene Palmer.
