Mr. Grady Josey of Bainbridge, Georgia and Panama City, Florida, passed away on October 20, 2012 at his daughter's home in Panama City with family at his side. He was 98. Mr Josey was born in Decatur County, Georgia on July 1, 1914 and lived his entire working life in Decatur and Seminole Counties. Grady worked twenty plus years for Willis Lumber Company in Bainbridge and then he worked for Georgia Tubing in Early County, until his retirement at age 79. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Annie Ingram Josey; granddaughter, Robin Roland; son-in-law, James Shepard; parents, Charles and Susie Hunter Josey; along with three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Eudonis Shepard of Panama City; son, Randall Josey and wife, Virginia of Panama City; 5 grandchildren, James Shepard, Jr.and wife, Pam of Panama City, Gary Shepard and wife, Michelle of Frontenac, KS, Randall Josey, Jr. and wife, Mary of Dallas, Texas, Kendall Josey of Panama City, and Danny Thorpe and wife, Becky of Bainbridge, Georgia; 8 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home in Panama City, with Rev. Donnie Jackson officiating. Interment was held that afternoon at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur County, Georgia.
