Graham Phillips, 52, of Adel, GA, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017.The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Southwest Baptist Church.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Phillips and Lou Ellen Durham Phillips. Graham lived in southwest Georgia most of his life and was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.Graham often said he identified with Sam from the sitcom "Cheers". He was very humble and seemed to make friends wherever he went. Graham could identify with most anyone given his array of gifts and talents. He loved all music especially when he was playing the drums. His signature song was "Owner of Lonely Heart". He was a sports fanatic. He enjoyed fishing, tennis, baseball and softball and was known for being "that left handed pitcher". Mostly, Graham loved. He had an undying love for the light of his life, his daughter, Meighan.Survivors include his daughter, Meighan Phillips of Savannah, GA; and his siblings, Terry Phillips and his wife, Theresa, of Quincy, FL, Kaye Phillips Cook and her husband, Ronnie, and Sherrie Phillips Bailey and her husband, Doug, all of Bainbridge, GA. Graham was preceded in death by his parents.
