Harry Hooten

Harry C. Hooten, age 54, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at his residence. ***Due to weather conditions, the service in Bainbridge has been moved to Ivey Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.*** Harry was born in Bainbridge, Ga. to the late Margaret C. and James Clifford Hooten Jr. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he was a member of Kappa Alpha. He worked in Savannah for Georgia Federal Bank, Ford Motor Credit Company, and from 1999 until present he was a bank officer for First Bank of Coastal Georgia in Richmond Hill. Harry was a member of the board of directors for the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce and was very active each year with the Seafood Festival. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a Methodist. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, James Clifford Hooten III; niece, Melissa Caplan. Survivors: sister, Suzanne Mills of Bainbridge; nephew, Jason Mills of Bainbridge; nieces, Jalyn Mills and Erin Caplan both of Bainbridge. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday, March 30, 2009, Richmond Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11 am, Tuesday, March 31, 2009, Richmond Hill Funeral Home, Cox Chapel.
