Harvey Chason

Mr. Harvey Clifford "Bubba" Chason, age 64, of Albany, Georgia passed away on June 19, 2024 at his home in Albany, Georgia, Services for Mr. Chason will be held on Monday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m.in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Baggett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Beulah Thomas Church Cemetery. Robby Chason, Brian Whitmire, Stan Hudson, Max Harrell, Randy Brown, and Randy Allen will serve as pallbearers.

Bubba Chason was born on August 29, 1959 in Bainbridge, Georgia to Harvey Clifford Chason, Sr. and Lois Mills Chason. On October 20, 1984, Bubba married Carolyn King Chason. Bubba deeply loved his family and especially loved being a grandfather. He was an especially skilled craftsman and builder who loved working with his hands. He was a hard worker dedicated to providing for his family and a member of The Vine Church in Leesburg, Georgia. Bubba was an avid fisherman, but his real passion was playing golf. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Harvey Clifford Chason is survived by his wife, Carolyn King Chason of Albany; children, Sunnie (Stan) Hudson of Mableton, Georgia and Abbie Nicole Chason of Whigham, Georgia; granddaughter, Penelope Annette Hudson; grand-dog, Remi; siblings, Carol (Brian) Whitmire of Jacksonville, Florida, Robby (Tina) Chason of Cary, North Carolina, and Debbie Pickren of Bainbridge, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
