Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen J. Morano Kelley, 84, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Roberto Mena, S.T. officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Bryan Kelley, Vincent Taylor, Erik Kelley, Dan Kelley, Aaron Kelley, and Larry Kelley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday, April 27, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Kelley was born August 28, 1924 in Boston, MA to the now late Rocco and Catherine Batalato Morano. She was married to the now late Emmett B. Kelley and move to Bainbridge in the 1940's. She and her husband were active with the VFW Post 4904. She was involved with the Bainbridge Little Theatre and was a substitute teacher in Bainbridge for a number of years. Mrs. Kelley moved to Jackson, GA two years ago due to medical reasons and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at VITAS Hospice Inpatient Unit in Stockbridge, GA. Mrs. Kelley is survived by her son; Robert Bob (wife Sheila) Kelley of Jonesboro, GA; one brother; Dick Morano of Boston, MA; and six grandchildren; Aaron Kelley, Bryan Kelley, Erik Kelley, Colleen Kelley, Katherine Taylor, and Vincent Taylor. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband, her son, Rusty Kelley, and daughters, Patti Taylor and Debra Kelley.
