Helen Johnson Palmetto, 82, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019. A private graveside funeral service was held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Helen Lila Johnson was born August 11, 1936 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Brewster Benjamin Johnson and Niza Ann Middleton Johnson. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1954. Helen married William John Palmetto, who preceded her in death. She worked as a medical records supervisor and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Karla Gail Rentz Fletcher, Karen Lynn Rentz and Kimberly Jean Palmetto; and her siblings, Teri Hornsby and Edith Tomachich. In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents.
