Henrietta Cleo Washington, age 100, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 29th, 2022. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Elder Rickey Jones and Prophetess Shorrie Jones officiating. Cleo was born February 9, 1922 in Colquitt, Georgia, the daughter of Milas Callaway and Pearl Lena Harris King. She also confessed Christ at an early age and served faithfully. She worked as a cook/waitress at Bram's Restaurant, Bainbridge Truck Stop, a Housekeeper/Nanny for the Hutto Family and Retired from Shaw Industries. Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, S.J. Washington; her parents; her son, Johnny Brown; her brothers Leroy Ford, Collie Callaway, Jerry King, and sister Lucy Washington; and her sister's kids Christine McNair, Johnny Washington, Jerry Washington and one Grand-daughter Jill Vaughn. Survivors include her children, Fannie Hall, Elna Gissentanner, Cheena Bunch (Shawn), Rickey Jones (Shorrie); grandchildren, Christopher Hodge, Nancy Hall, Paige Hall, Twynette Gordon, Garrett Fountain, Patrick Bell, Curtis Jones, Rickey Jones, Jr., Shorricka Jones, Cedrick Jones, Jabez Jones, Javon Bunch, Jaylan Bunch, and Jada Bunch; She also is survived by her sister's (Lucy) kids that she raised: David Washington, Lamar Washington (Freda), Andrew Washington, Janice Thompson, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and family friends. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
