Henry Gossett

Henry H. Gossett, 58, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Richard Ivey, Preston Wilkinson, Kyle Wilkinson, Ansley Yarbrough, Gary Grimes, and Kendall Howard serving as active pallbearers. Employees of Gossett Electric Company will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Henry was born January 30, 1950 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of William Clark Gossett and Myrtle Golden Gilbert Gossett. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1968 and from Auburn University. He was vice president of Gossett Electric Company and a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Regina Richards Gossett of Bainbridge, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Trey and Catherine Gossett of Bainbridge, GA, and Garrett and Jennifer Gossett of Charlotte, NC; his brother, William C. (Billy) Gossett, Jr. and wife Elon of Bainbridge, GA; and two grandchildren, Jones Gossett and Goldie Gossett.
