Henry Johnson

Mr. Henry Oliver Johnson, age 85, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, in Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service will be held to honor Mr. Johnson at 2:00 pm., Monday, January 23, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. Henry Oliver Johnson was born October 25, 1937, in Colquitt, Georgia, to Henry Johnson and Mannie Claude Cannon Johnson. His dear wife, Betty Jo Johnson, preceded him in death. Henry made his home at Lake Seminole, Georgia. Henry will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Mr. Johnson is survived by his children, Judy Rogers (Eddie) of Cairo, Georgia, Tammie Johnson of Thomasville, Georgia and 3 stepchildren; siblings, Lois Johnson Kelly of Lake Park, Georgia, Roy R. Johnson and Bill Monroe Johnson both of Bainbridge; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers, James, Gene, and Jessie Johnson.
