Hettie Mae Trawick, 76, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl G. Garnett and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Roger Trawick, Todd Trawick, Eddie Trawick, Richard Trawick, Robbie Jackson, Allen Brackin, and Josh Trawick serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Trawick was born November 15, 1931 in Cottonwood, AL, the daughter of Jesse Hughes and Mattie Cherry Hughes. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Trawick; her brothers, James M. Hughes, Freddy Hughes and James H. Hughes; and her sister, Mary Moody. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; Raymond and Debbie Trawick of Waynesboro, GA, Wiley Thomas "Buddy" and Lisha Brackin of Leary, GA and Ralph Earl and Teresa Trawick of Bainbridge, GA; one daughter, Eileen T. Ulmer of Bainbridge, GA; one brother, George E. Hughes, of Albany, GA; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
