Hildred Barber

Hildred Rich Barber, 77, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating, and will conclude in the church. Interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Evan Barber, Ryan Barber, David Pearson, Al Pearson, Kenneth Godwin, and Mike Barber serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Barber was born August 6, 1935 in Brinson, GA, the daughter of Ralph Rich and Rosa Clare Ivey Rich. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1953, and a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and very active in the Winsome Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, E. Harold Barber of Bainbridge, GA; her sons, Ronald Barber and his wife, Karan, of Graceville, FL and Donald Barber and his wife, Libby, of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Rosalyn Barber of Bainbridge, GA; and her grandchildren, Ryan Barber, Evan Barber, Brian Street, and Katie Jones. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Barber.
