Howard Daniel Day, 60, of Brinson, GA, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.Howard Daniel Day was born March 20, 1957 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Russell Daniel Day and Ruth Alday Day. He lived all of his life in the Bethany Community and was of Christian faith. Howard loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a great cook in his own right and found he could make most anything taste good from his grill or smoker. Survivors include his children, Casey Day Love and her husband, Trey, of McDonough, GA and Whitney Day of Bainbridge, GA; his mother, Ruth Day of Brinson, GA; his siblings, Ruby Day and Roger Day, also of Brinson, GA; and his grandchildren, Haile, Keagan and Christopher.
