Hubert Brock

Mr. Hubert Lee Brock, age 86, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Brock was born October 16, 1921 in Decatur County, GA to the now late Joe and Clem Martin Brock. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1940 and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a farmer, and a member of Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church and V.F. W. Post 4904. Survivors include his wife, Joan Culverson Brock of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Hubert L. (Hugh) Brock, Jr. and wife Edna of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Sheila Brock of Bainbridge, GA; his sister, Cleo B. Lynn of Bainbridge, GA; four grandchildren, LaDon Toole, Brock Toole, Lacee Brock, and Hannah Brock; and two great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Toole and Landon Brock Toole.
