Irma Chandler

Mrs. Irma Chandler, age 88, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday. September 19, 2022, in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Chandler will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. Jean Watson will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery. Irma was born February 20, 1934, in Furth-Bayern, Germany. She was a talented seamstress and upholsterer. After arriving in the United States, she was fortunate to live in many areas of the country. She moved to Bainbridge from Frazer Park, California. Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Felton Stokes, Jr. and Ronald Chandler. She is survived by her children, Gail Sample and Thomas Stokes; grandchildren, Drew M. Stokes and Emily MacDonald; great-grandchildren, Parker MacDonald, Riley MacDonald, Adley Stokes, and Willow Stokes; and brother Carl Frass. On-lone condolences may be sent at www.Coxfuneral.net .
